„Constructive criticism in the form of appreciative feedback is essential for successful change processes."

We talked to decision makers and role models about feedback. The short interviews are published here. Employee feedback is more than just an HR topic!
Why is feedback important?
No feedback, no change - even if it hurts sometimes. We need impulses from the outside to better reflect ourselves and to gain new perspectives.
What was your worst feedback?
Recently a valued colleague said that I am "infinitely naive". That was fierce at first, but it made me think about where his perception might come from. At some point I understood it; as a result, I will do certain things differently in the future. That was a painful but good experience.
How important is feedback in change processes?
Feedback is always important, but even more relevant in change processes because, in particular, executives are being looked at. Sometimes it is the unconscious patterns of behavior that can lead to irritation and are thus all the more urgently need to be talked about. Constructive criticism in the form of appreciative feedback is essential to make change processes successful.
